According to CALB’s official news, on March 10th, the new P7i super intelligent sedan of XPEV was officially launched. This time, XPEV P7i released four new models, namely, 702Pro/702Max/610Max Performance Edition/610 Pengyi Performance Edition, with the first launch of the entire series equipped with CALB’s high voltage ternary upgrade battery cell.
In terms of performance, the new model CLTC has a comprehensive range of up to 702km, an acceleration of 3.9s from 0-100km, and assists in the comprehensive upgrade of P7i charging. The charging time of 10% to 80% is up to 29 minutes, the charging power is increased by 90%, and the supplementary range of up to 240km is up to 10 minutes.
At the same time, CALB adopts the industry’s first TPP (Thermal Propagation Prevention) thermal suppression technology to achieve safety innovation and upgrading, making XPEV a pure P7i sedan with extreme speed and energy supplement, leading safety.
According to data, since 2018, CALB has introduced the world’s leading high voltage technology and products for high safety lithium ternary batteries, which not only meets the leading energy density, but also achieves thermal runaway suppression of products, leading the development direction of ternary technology.
The TPP thermoelectric separation design is the industry’s first in CALB. Through structural innovation, it changes the direction of the release of thermal runaway pressure relief substances from the battery and forms an independent pressure relief space, avoiding complex short circuit problems, greatly improving the safety of the battery pack.
High voltage three-cell battery technology is a very important innovation of CALB under the concept of high energy and resource balance. CALB is also the first manufacturer in the industry to mass produce 5-series high voltage products with a 600km range.
In 2022, CALB’s fast charging products featuring high voltage, high specific energy, high safety, and long life helped Smart take the lead in obtaining the EU carbon footprint certificate.
At the same time, the CALBL221 platform’s high voltage medium nickel ternary battery product has also helped Chang’an Deep Blue SL03 battery pack pass more than 20 rigorous tests at the China Automotive Research New Energy Vehicle Demon Training Camp, including the extremely rigorous “extreme burn” test.
From the performance of the supporting XPEV car P7i, CALB has achieved another upgrade of high voltage ternary battery technology.

According to the data, in 2022, the cumulative installed capacity of lithium ternary battery in China was 110.4 GWh, with CALB ranking second with 12.45 GWh installed capacity. The market share led the third place by more than 5 percentage points, reaching 11.27%.
